Builders Club is made up of students who want to make
positive changes in our school and community. We take
turns leading projects, committees and our club and help
each other overcome challenges so we can successfully serve
others. One month we might raise money or collect books,
food or clothing for a worthy organization. Another month
we might work with an animal shelter to clean kennels or a
senior center to build a community garden. The entire club
votes on where we want to spend our time and energy.
Helping others ends up helping us too. We learn how to lead
and make things happen. We discover how to work with each
other and bring out the best in one another. Best of all, we
make friends who care as much as we do about creating a
better world.
