Mariner in the AM

Principal's Message

Welcome to Mariner Middle School, Home of the Mighty Tritons!   Our beautiful campus is situated near the corner of Chiquita and Tropicana Boulevards in Cape Coral, a growing and vibrant community that is now the 8th largest city in Florida!  We are proud to be part of the School District of Lee County (SDLC).

Our campus is directly adjacent to Cape Coral’s Regional Library as well as Mariner High School.  Our location provides excellent opportunities for our students to participate in activities and events beyond our school.

Our students engage with a rigorous, interdisciplinary curriculum centered on Florida's BEST Standards.  In addition to three years of core programming, students may elect to take two years of Spanish, visual arts, performing arts, technology, physical education, or horticulture.  Our culinary arts program focuses on seed-to-table learning, and our band earned a superior rating again at the 2023 Music Performance Assessment.

We offer dozens of sports, clubs and academic competitions--our school has something to offer every learner!

Parents and community members, we would like to partner with you:

*Join our School Advisory Council to advise and support schoolwide programs!
*Join our Parent Teacher Organization to celebrate students and staff!
*Local businesses:  Become a community partner with Mariner Middle School.  We will proudly display our partnership on a fence sign in front of our campus.

We are looking forward to an excellent school year!  In the meantime, check our website for supply lists, dress code, upcoming events, and more.  We will be updating our site throughout the school year.
