Principal's Message

Welcome to Mariner Middle School!   Our beautiful campus is situated at the corner of Chiquita and Tropicana Boulevards in Cape Coral, a growing and vibrant community that is now the 8th largest city in Florida!  We are proud to be part of the School District of Lee County (SDLC).

We are also proud to be the only International Baccalaureate World School in SDLC’s West Zone.  Our campus is directly adjacent to Cape Coral’s Regional Library as well as Mariner High School.  Our location provides excellent opportunities for our students to participate in activities and events beyond our school.

As an IB school, all of our students engage with a rigorous, interdisciplinary curriculum.  In addition to three years of core programming, students also take two years of Spanish as well as a visual or performing art.  Our band earned a superior rating at the Music Performance Assessment, boasting 21 all-county and 3 all-state musicians.  Our school has something to offer every learner!

Parents and community members, we would like to partner with you:

*Join our School Advisory Council to advise and support schoolwide programs!
*Join our Parent Teacher Organization to celebrate students and staff!
*Local businesses:  Become a community partner with Mariner Middle School.  We will proudly display our partnership on a fence sign in front of our campus.

We are looking forward to an excellent 2022-2023 school year.  In the meantime, check our website for supply lists, dress code, upcoming events, and more.  We will be updating our site throughout the school year.
