There are eight subject areas in the Middle Years Programme at Mariner Middle School. The majority of our classes are a part of one of the eight subject areas.
The subject areas are:
Arts (visual and performing)
Design (technology classes, horticulture and culinary, wellness and mindfulness, and health classes)
Individuals and societies (social studies)
Language acquisition (Spanish)
Language and literature (ELA, research, and reading)
Mathematics
Physical and health education (PE)
Sciences

These overviews are updated as unit plans are updated. While there may be changes over the course of the year, these overviews should give you a good idea about the academic program at Mariner Middle.
