Hello Tritons!!!

Hope all continues to go well with your completion of your 2015-2016 school year.  As promised enclosed is our brochure for our FREE summer camps offered to our 2016-2017 Mariner Middle School Tritons.  We are thrilled to once again be able to offer these fun and educational camps for our students.  Our camps fulfill a variety of interests including, art, cooking, drama, health & fitness, robotics, and really cool mystery science.  The camps are offered June 20-23 and/or June 27-30 from 8:00 to 12:00.  Parents, you will have to provide transportation.  You may return the enclosed application or visit our website and enroll online.

Another program that we will be offering is our Triton Quest.  This is an orientation which will be offered to our new students in any of our three grade levels.  This will give our newest students an opportunity to learn the campus, make new friends and meet some of our outstanding teachers.  Triton Quest will be offered July 18-19 and July 20-21, students may sign up for either session.  Space is limited and the cost is $20.  This brochure can be found online or in the front office.  This needs to be turned into the school with your payment.

Open House for all students will be Thursday, August 4, 2016, from 4:30pm-7:00pm.  Students will receive their schedules at that time and will be able to walk their schedule and meet their teachers.

If you have not had the opportunity to visit our campus, we encourage you to set up a time to take a personal tour.  Anyone on our administrative team would be happy to show you around and answer any questions.

All forms, like course selection sheets, supply lists, dress code, and camp applications can be found on our website at mrm.leeschools.net.

Best wishes for a successful end of year,

Rachel Gould, Principal

Welcome Tritons!!!

We are so thrilled that you are going to be joining us next year.  Mariner Middle has evolved into a topnotch school, offering the International Baccalaureate Programme and the opportunity to earn high school credit in both foreign language and mathematics. We are so proud to be the first and only middle school in the West Zone to be recognized as an Authorized World International Baccalaureate School. Our teachers are all highly qualified and eager to develop lifelong learners.

We know that you possibly will miss elementary school and that the transition to middle school can be a bit scary (especially for the parents).  If you did not have the opportunity to visit Open House last January, we encourage you to set up a time to take a personal tour.  Anyone on our administrative team would be happy to show you around and answer any questions.

We are excited to offer a few summer programs for our Tritons.  In June we will be offering summer enrichment camps, to our 2016-2017 MMS Tritons.  These camps will be free of charge and offered June 20-23 and/or June 27-30.  Students may attend either or both sessions.  Keep an eye out for information about that coming soon.  Another program that we will be offering is our Triton Quest.  This is an orientation which will be offered to our incoming students in any of our three grade levels.  This will give our newest students an opportunity to learn the campus, make new friends and meet some of our outstanding teachers.  Triton Quest will be offered July 18-19 and July 20-21, students may sign up for either session.  Space is limited and the cost is $20.

Enclosed in this mailing is a copy of our dress code, our course selection sheet, and a Triton Quest application.

Best wishes for a successful end of 5th grade,

Rachel Gould, Principal
