To reduce discipline problems, the Mariner Middle School Before School Program places great emphasis on positive relationships between students, staff and parents. Children and parents should be aware of the following discipline policy:

1st Offense: Verbal warning, the child will be reminded of the rule broken.

2nd Offense: The child will sit out and lose 5-10 minutes of social time.

3rd Offense: The child will sit out and lose 10-20 minutes of social time, phone call home.

4th Offense: The child will be taken to administration.

Continuous and/or major offenses may result in a temporary or permanent suspension from the Before School Program.

Students enrolled in the Before School Program must adhere to the school’s dress code policy and be ready for the school day.

The school’s clinic does not open until 9:15 so all medications must be administered at home.
